WHAT IS VLE?

The Veterinarian Licensure Examination is the standardized licensing examination of all aspiring veterinarians in the Philippines. All candidates wishing to pass the licensure exam must have a four-year undergraduate degree and/or a degree in veterinary medicine from an approved school, college, or university.


COVERAGE OF THE EXAM:

The three-day exam covers the following subjects:

1st Day:

  1. Veterinary Anatomy
  2. Veterinary Physiology
  3. Veterinary Parasitology

2nd Day:

  1. Veterinary Pathology
  2. Veterinary Pharmacology
  3. Zootechnics

3rd Day:

  1. Veterinary Microbiology and Public Health
  2. Veterinary Medicine and Surgery

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
  2. NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
  3. Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned picture and Remarks "For Board Examination Purposes". It must also be "notarized".
  4. Payment:
    • ₱ 900.00 - complete
    • ₱ 450.00 - conditioned/ removal
  5. Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers & Repeaters)
  6. Others:
    • Documentary stamp (you can get one in your municipal office/BIR, these are also sold by peddlers just outside the PRC premises)
    • Passport size ID with a tag of your full name below using this format [SURNAME, FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME]
